Dinner
Dinner is normally served around 7pm and is a traditional Bedouin meal. It consists of BBQ chicken, potatoes and onions. Vegetable dishes, salads and bread. This meal is called Zarb. It takes 1.5 hrs to cook under the sand and is a very tasty meal. We have two cooks who prepare the meals. You can watch the BBQ being taken out from under the sand and take some photos also of the Bedouin food culture at the same time.
Snacks + Drinks
Drinks and snacks can be bought from our small shop in the camp, including 1.5L water bottles. It is useful if you bring small change to purchase them as it is difficult to change large notes in the desert.
Tea and coffee is free of charge in the morning and additional costs at other times. We do not serve alcohol however you are free to bring whatever you like to drink to our camp and enjoy it in the desert surroundings.
